 -    and omnipotent   (if one can speak of power in any sense other than by observation of the effects that materials in the broadest sense have on each other),

                                 -    decides, at some time in timelessness,

                                 -    that it will create out of nothing

                                 -    by the mere exercise of its non-material intelligence ...

The quotation is not from the apocryphal Gospel of Saint Thomas but, as astute readers will have recognized, from the fertile mind of my favorite First-Class Honors engineer and lawyer (the only one I know), Thom.  Rather than have it lost in the limbo of countless comments on one or other posting in this blog, and possibly remain unread, I have exercised my editorial right to make of it an independent Reflection.  To add to it, to try to embellish or comment on it, would not only be superfluous but an indication of a greater arrogance than even I am capable of.  Sapienti sat.
